When will my order arrive?
Your item should arrive 6-8 weeks after successful completion and payment of the order. -
Why does an order take so long to reach me?
Each order is made-to-order. This ensures that you are getting a perfectly finished product that hasn't been sitting in a stock/showroom somewhere (this does not include the once-off Opulence pieces which are stored in a vault for safe keeping once completed and these are sent out immediately once your request for purchase has been processed). We take great pains to check the quality of each and every piece that comes off our benches before sending it beautifully packaged with your preferred method of delivery. -
How long will it take to process my return or exchange?
Once we receive your return you will receive a full refund, within 3-5 working days additionally,
please note that returns can take up to 21 days to get back to us. -
There is an item I like, but the site says it is sold out. Will you be getting more in?
Please email us and we will endeavor to make up a new piece for you. In the case of one-off's and unique Opulence pieces, once the item is sold that is the end of it, so check the site regularly or sign up for our newsletter to get notified when new stock arrives so you can snap up that coveted item! -
How do I find out more information on an item I am interested in?
The different items on our site all contain short information stubs with the material composition and in some cases, care instructions. Additionally, you can email us for more information on items. -
I am a retailer and interested in stocking your pieces, do you have a wholesaler list and where can I get one?

I am a stylist/fashion editor wanting to pull a piece I have seen on your site for a shoot. Who do I contact?
Please reach out by phone or email and if we have a sample in stock we are more than happy to assist.
You will be required to sign an appro release form which will cover the brand in case you damage the piece/s or
the item in question is stolen. T's & C's for usage will apply. -

How do I know if an item is in stock?
The website should notify customers of the availability of an item, alternatively you can drop us a mail to
confirm that we have the item you are looking for in stock. -
Can I collect my order instead?
Sure! We will notify you when you can pick up your item after placing and paying for your order. -
How will I know if you have received my order?
You will receive an email to the email address you provided, confirming your order and payment. -

I WANT TO HAVE A CUSTOM PIECE MADE?
Duncan Stevens Jewellery prides himself on the custom work he makes for his clientele whom live around the globe. Please reach out and get in touch to make an appointment if you are in Cape Town.
Once you have made your appointment a booking confirmation will be emailed to you. Due to security reasons, clients will not be met at his workshop.
IS THERE IS A CONSULTATION CHARGE?
There is a design fee which you will be expected to pay prior to commencement of a commission. This will entitle you to three designs/illustrations which remain the intellectual property of Duncan Stevens. Should you then proceed to manufacture of a chosen design, the consultation fee is subtracted from the final price. Should you choose not to proceed to manufacture, the consultation fee is non-refundable.
I HAVE A STONE I WANT CUT/OR SET, CAN I COMMISSION A PIECE WITH STONES I MAY ALREADY HAVE?
Yes, in most cases we can cut stones as we have a trained lapidarist and gemologist that can cut (and assess) a stone you may have. We will advise you on the best cut for the rough you may have or can check, polish up or supply an evaluation of a stone in question.
DO YOU PROVIDE CERTIFICATION'S/ EVALUATIONS WITH CUSTOM/ONCE-OFF LUXURY PIECES?
We will endeavor to provide you with a letter of evaluation for insurance purposes outlining to the cost to replace a piece you may have ordered or commissioned upon request.
